Build Your Own Mobile Apps – Hands-on Workshop About the Workshop: In this interactive session, participants will use MIT App Inventor (https://appinventor.mit.edu/about-us), a free and intuitive online platform from MIT, to build fully functional mobile apps for Android phones, iPhones, and Android/iOS tablets. Even if you’re new to app making, you’ll have your first app up and running in less than 30 minutes! What You’ll Learn: Get started with blocks-based coding— no prior coding experience needed. Learn how to generate a complete **single-page HTML file for a simple mobile app page. Hands-on practice to build two mini apps: Task 1: Random Number Generator Task 2: A quiz with a timer, showing a summary of correct and incorrect answers and your score. Requirements: Laptop Mobile phone (Android or iPhone) No prior experience with app development required! Key Outcomes: 1. Understand how to build mobile applications using **open-source tools 2. Explore mobile app development through MIT App Inventor’s visual, drag-and-drop interface 3. Create fully functional apps for Android and iOS devices.
