A Tinkering Space—also known as a Makerspace—is a hands-on, creative environment where people of all ages can explore, experiment, and bring their ideas to life. At Kalpakghar Tinkering Space, we provide the resources and tools necessary to transform imagination into reality. Whether you're building a robot, designing a prototype, or working on a hands-on engineering project, this is a place where learning meets creativity. The Kalpakghar Tinkering Space is designed to promote practical learning and a deeper understanding of scientific principles through experimentation. It serves as an essential part of Kalpakghar, our community lab, which aims to inspire individuals to explore various scientific disciplines—including physics, biology, and engineering—in a collaborative and interactive setting. Kalpakghar is a community Tinkering Center open to all visitors of the Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park. It offers hands-on STEM (Science - Technology - Engineering - Mathematics) activities aligned with the school curriculum, fostering creativity and innovation. Engage in hands-on STEM tinkering activities and challenges at our community tinkering center. Learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math in a fun and creative way. Suitable for both teachers and students interested in enhancing their STEM skills. General Tools and Equipment: Hand Tools: Hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, and other general-purpose tools. Soldering Stations: For working on electronic components and circuits. CNC Machine: For precision machining and automated fabrication. Safety Equipment: Gloves, goggles, aprons, and first-aid kits to ensure a safe working environment. Kalpakghar Tinkering Space is not just a place to work alone—it’s a community hub where you can meet like-STEM tinkerers and individuals to collaborate, and exchange ideas.
